information 'Eastern Climate Change Network (ECCN) Project'
This
Project is supported under the European Commission's Synergy Programme
and is jointly carried out by the consortium MVV Consultants and
Engineers GmbH/Germany (leader) http://www.euweb.de,
Tebodin Consultants and Engineers/The Netherlands http://www.tebodin.com,
ADEME/France http://www.ademe.fr
and the East-West Energy Agency/Russian Federation.
Using
the ECCN's expertise will save a lot of your time in finding reliable
partners and suitable projects to meet your demand in Emission Reduction
Units (ERU) or Certified Emission Reductions (CERU) generated in Central
and Eastern Europe and the CIS. You can draw on the solid experience of
the partner organisations in these countries that were created during
the previous decade on initiative of the European Commission under its
Thermie, Synergy and Tacis programmes. Their experts have all long-term
experience in the energy and environmental sectors of their countries
and are skilled in international co-operation.
With
their assistance the following information was prepared respectively
collected:

for submission and implementation under the Kyoto flexibility
mechanisms AIJ/JI and CDM,

procedures applied to the local
implementation of the Kyoto flexibility mechanisms,

country-related peculiarities,
·
local financial organisations,
·
general background etc.
